Jaime A. Leaños was born and raised in San Jose and is a graduate of Andrew Hill High School. (Class of 1981). After High School he attended San Diego State University and University of San Francisco School of Law.

He has been licensed to practice law since 1992. From 1993 – 2000, he was an attorney with the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. In 2000, Jaime and Alfredo Morales, opened their own firm:

Law Office of Morales & Leaños. Morales & Leaños specialize in civil and criminal litigation. Jaime is also one of the only attorneys in the area who handles both civil and criminal trials. Jaime also appears as a legal

analyst for NBC, CBS, Telemundo and Univision. In his free time Jaime plays golf and is a bay area sports fan. The Giants, Forty-Niners and Golden State Warriors are his favorite teams.  Jaime is married and has three daughters.
